Use small, legally reusable files to test geometry import and understand CutNesting's fail-closed boundaries. The library deliberately includes valid files, cases that require confirmation, and inputs that must be blocked.

Expected behavior is part of every sample

A sample is not labeled merely as supported or unsupported. Its manifest records the expected unit state, item outcome, issue codes and, where appropriate, physical dimensions.

How to use the library

  1. 1. Choose a focused fixture. Start with one geometry behavior instead of a large production drawing.
  2. 2. Import it as a part or stock boundary. Confirm units and physical dimensions whenever the drawing is unitless.
  3. 3. Compare the review outcome. Ready, Needs review and Unsupported are materially different states.
  4. 4. Keep CAM verification separate. Successful geometry import does not make an exported layout machine-ready.

Test a file in the 2D workspace

CutNesting processes geometry locally in the browser and shows units, physical size, contour warnings and unsupported source entities before adding an item.
